A warm welcome to the Auckland Catholic Tramping Club’s website. If you want to discover New Zealand’s great outdoors; get and stay fit, develop new skills, meet new friends, unwind and relax, get back to nature – then we have what you are looking for. We love getting out into the outdoors and although tramping is our most popular activity, there are other outdoor and social activities enjoyed by our members. There are tramps every weekend in the Auckland region and beyond; day trips, weekends, and longer. In the winter there are ski trips to National Park; in summer there are extended excursions to the South Island. Trips are held rain or shine. The Club’s magazine, The Tramper, is published monthly and contains trip details, Club news and social notes. The Club has its own transport capable of carrying 26 people and converting to a sleeper for overnight trips. Find out more about Club transport here.
